This organization consists of an executive board and representatives from each house/floor (usually the house/floor president). The Community Council plans social and educational programs for residents and also serves as a forum for students to express their ideas, concerns, and opinions about residence hall/apartment policies and procedures. Community Council meetings are usually held twice each month and are open to all residents. Community Council provides opportunities to gain leadership experience and meet new people. The Community Council executive board typically includes the president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, social events chair, educational/cultural events chair, food and facilities chair, and four representatives to the Residence Hall Association.
